First we had smart phones….now we have smart floors. Lauzon Flooring has designed a hardwood floor line called appropriately enough, Pure Genius, that is reinventing the control of air quality in your home. Activated by light and air movement, this super smart floor apparently can convert the toxins normally found in your home into harmless water and carbon dioxide. The product is specially-formulated using a patented titanium dioxide technology that decomposes bacteria, viruses and molds thereby reducing potential carcinogens.
Nathalie Lambert, marketing manager of Lauzon Flooring, shared the purifying effect of the floors, “a 1,377-square-foot home installed with Pure Genius is the equivalent of having three trees in your home!” Who needs air purification systems or bulky machines with smart floors!
Kudos for the beautifully green product of the week!
